Visitors are immersed in an environment of clouds and kiosks that enhance the learning experience of Polk County, Florida’s watersheds. A touch-screen kiosk offers guests a selection of short animated vignettes on each watershed in “story form” as told by a loveable water drop character named Hydro. Eidson used a variety of software and hardware to enhance the experience using DMX controllers to choreograph strobe lights in thunder clouds with sound effects within the exhibit space.
