nterviews with curators and historians tell a portion of the story of the Old State House, a unique historical site. As the oldest standing state capitol building west of the Mississippi River it served as the state’s capital until 1911. From 1912 to 1935 the Arkansas State Medical School was housed at the Old State House. Eidson created an interactive touch-screen kiosk for this exhibit. The kiosk provides layers upon layers of information and facts, including photos of medical artifacts and medical school staff. Creative graphics, navigational programming, and a documentary approach share stories such as the medical school’s advancements in the fight against Malaria.
